The Hunger of the Mountain
The Hunger of the Mountain An Achak the Hunter Story Achak was freezing. The harsh winter wind cut through his bearskin coat and chilled him to the bone. He’d hoped that he could stay in Camp Davis for a while, but the news there was just as dire. An entire supply caravan from New York City had failed to make it to the outpost nestled here near the borders. Even now there were more Natives and French in Camp Davis than English, but Achak doubted it would stay that way after winter broke. Food was scarce and tensions were high. Achak figured it would be better for him to move…

Updates to the Richard Laymon Read-A-Thon
It’s still going good, just this week I finished reading The Island, All Hallows Eve, and The Woods Are Dark. Next I’m going to start reading Flesh, Alarums, and Fiends. Also, if go to Richard Laymon’s Page on Amazon you’ll be pleasantly surprised like I was to find that a majority of his books are now in Kindle Unlimited. Which is awesome if you’ve got it, especially for some of the harder to find Laymon titles. I also fell behind while I was out of town and forgot to put the links up here for the last four video uploads in the Richard Laymon Read-A-Thon. As you can see below…

My Goals For 2021
I think it’s important to write down goals, for one it keeps me slightly accountable and I enjoy going back to see what I accomplished and what I didn’t When I wrote my goals for 2020 I like everyone else around the world had absolutely no idea that the pandemic would happen. To say it threw a few curve balls my way would be an understatement, because of it I lost my job and ended up moving back to my hometown. Looking back at 2020 I didn’t get my entire backlist up like I wanted, something I plan to remedy in 2021. I also didn’t do anything close to making…

My Pandemic Binge Watching Extravaganza
During the Pandemic which if you live in the US is still raging I’ve been binge watching a lot of my favorite shows. Mostly just to have one in the background. Favorite shows are weird especially ones you grew up watching, I think revisiting them can be nostalgic in a good way, like catching up with an old friend. Here’s what I’ve been watching for most of 2020. Buffy The Vampire Slayer Buffy is a no brainer for me, watching the Scoobies and her battle it out with armies of the Hellmouth is always primetime entertainment in my book. I also read more Buffy and Angel tie-in novels this year…

Why I Changed the Cover of The Stars Below
If you’ve purchased The Stars Below on Amazon or got my email about it you might have noticed that it now has a completely different cover. I liked the other cover and the new one is alright, though obviously something that I made myself. If you’re wondering why I changed it, the answer is pretty simple because of the eyeless woman on the front of the original cover I couldn’t advertise it on Amazon and other places. Which in the long run would hurt the sales of the book so I made an executive descion and had it changed. Let me know what ya’ll think about the new cover.
