3 Of My Favorite Sites to Get Free Books
I read a lot of books, if that hasn’t been made clear by now. And that price wise that can add up pretty quick. However luckily we live in a time where a lot of public domain books have been made widely available. And even those not in the public domain can be borrowed from certain sites.
So I thought it would be fun to share with ya’ll some of my favorite places to find free books.
1) Project Gutenberg
Project Gutenberg is a non-profit dedicated to digitizing out of print public domain books. They’ve also got bookshelves that are easily searchable by category. I highly recommend their horror, science fiction and western shelves.
2) The Internet Archive
While recently it’s had a lot of controversy The Internet Archive is a great repository of not only public domain books, but also movies, music, and even old websites via their Wayback Machine.
3) Madness Serial
I just recently came across them, while they don’t have as much as the other two listed above they do have a decent selection of public domain titles. What I think sets them apart is how nice their e-books are compared to the other two websites which are more focused on quantity over quality.
